1. About Vytal Menopause

Vytal Menopause is a nutrition coaching application operated by Grant Kendrick, trading as Vytal Menopause ("we", "us", "our"). The service is accessible via our app (available on Google Play and as a web app) and our website at vytalmenopause.com.

By creating an account or using the service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. The service

Vytal Menopause provides:

• Personalised nutrition guidance based on your menopause symptoms and health profile
• A food logging tool with AI-generated reactions and insights
• Recipe suggestions matched to your dietary preferences and symptoms
• An AI coaching chat feature for nutrition-related questions
• Daily insights and check-ins

All guidance provided by Vytal is for informational and educational purposes only. It is grounded in publicly available clinical guidelines including NICE NG23 and British Menopause Society recommendations, but it is not a substitute for professional medical advice.

3. Medical disclaimer

Specifically:

• Vytal does not diagnose medical conditions
• Vytal does not prescribe medications or supplements
• Vytal does not replace your GP, dietitian, or any other healthcare professional
• If you have a medical emergency, call 999 immediately
• If you are concerned about your health, contact your GP

Always seek the advice of your GP or other qualified health provider with any questions you may have regarding a medical condition. Never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of something you have read or received through Vytal Menopause.

4. Eligibility

To use Vytal Menopause you must:

• Be aged 18 or over
• Be located in a country where the service is available
• Provide accurate information when creating your account
• Not use the service on behalf of someone else without their knowledge and consent

5. Your account

You are responsible for:

• Keeping your login credentials secure
• All activity that occurs under your account
• Ensuring the information you provide is accurate and up to date
• Notifying us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access to your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

6. Subscription and payments

Vytal Menopause is available on a subscription basis:

• A free trial period is offered to new users
• After the trial, a subscription of £12.99 per month is required to continue using the service
• Payment is processed securely by Stripe
• Subscriptions renew automatically each month unless cancelled
• You can cancel at any time via the app (Profile → Manage subscription)
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain access until then
• We do not offer refunds for partial months
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the service
• Share your account with others
• Use automated tools to scrape, copy, or extract content from the service
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the app
• Use the service in any way that could harm, disable, or overburden our systems
• Submit false, misleading, or harmful information
• Use the service if you are under 18

8. AI-generated content

Vytal uses artificial intelligence (specifically Anthropic's Claude) to generate personalised nutrition guidance, food reactions, and responses to your questions. You acknowledge that:

• AI-generated content may occasionally be inaccurate or incomplete
• AI responses should not be relied upon as a substitute for professional medical advice
• We review and update the guidance framework regularly but cannot guarantee the accuracy of every individual AI response
• You use AI-generated guidance at your own discretion

9. Intellectual property

All content, design, code, and materials within Vytal Menopause are owned by or licensed to us. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the service without our written permission.

Your personal data and food log entries remain yours. You grant us a licence to use this data to provide and improve the service as described in our Privacy Policy.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by UK law:

• We are not liable for any health outcomes resulting from following guidance provided by Vytal
• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses
• Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding any claim
• We do not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law

11. Changes to the service

We reserve the right to:

• Modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service with reasonable notice
• Update these terms — we will notify you of significant changes by email
• Change subscription pricing with 30 days notice

Continued use of the service after changes to these terms constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.

12. Termination

You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time via the app. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
